BIO: Meghan began working with the Globall Sports Centers in 2003 as a Youth Program Coordinator and Facilities Manager. In 2005, Meghan became the Director of Camp Services for the Long Island Rough Riders where she expanded the soccer camp program for four consecutive seasons. Within the last year she oversaw all indoor tournaments for Globall Sports Centers.
Meghan is currently the Facility Director for both the Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale and Cunningham Sports Center in Fresh Meadows. Her responsibilities include programming and facility management for leagues, tournaments, clinics and rentals. Additionally, Meghan coaches the Junior Rough Riders girl’s 94/95 team which qualified for the North American Super Y-League Championship in Tampa after finishing first in the Super Y-League in 2008.
Meghan has an extensive professional soccer career competing in both the WUSA with the NY Power and the Women’s Premier League in England with the Bristol City Football Club. Most recently she has completed her 8th season as a goalkeeper in the USL W-League. In 2008 Meghan led the Rough Riders Women’s Team to the post season play-offs and in 2002 she won a National Championship with the Boston Renegades.
During her tenure with the Rough Riders, Meghan has been an Assistant Coach at both Dowling College (NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer) and St. John’s University (NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer).
Education: B.A. Business Administration – Sport Management from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. USSF and NSCAA National Coaching Licenses.
